Passwords By: Kathe Craig

Here's some information about passwords.

  • Passwords are case-sensitive.
  • The password field can accommodate up to 50 characters.
  • Your password should be at least seven characters in length. It should include alpha and numeric characters.
  • Use special characters to increase password strength. You should not use sequenced or consecutive letters or numbers such as 12345, abcde or abc123. Avoid using strings such as qwerty, changeme or password.
  • Use the Password Strength Indicator at the right of a Password field when creating a password. It displays the strength of the password as you type it into the field. Strengths include Very Weak, Weak, Fair, Strong and Very Strong.
