Create an HTML Link within a Custom View MiniBase

Here's how you create an HTML Hyperlink Field in a Custom View MiniBase.

  1. In Site Manager, navigate to the workspace where the MiniBase is located.
  2. Click the Tools tab.
  3. Select the MiniBase option.
  4. Select your MiniBase instance, click More and select Edit App Options.
  5. Click the Fields tab and add a field to the MiniBase that you will use for the link.
  6. Click the Custom View tab and expand Details.
  7. Click on the Insert MiniBase Field Icon and identify which field you are using for your link.
  8. In the Editor, type the word Website and highlight it.
  9. Click the Insert Link Icon and select the Web Address option in the Insert Link Wizard.
  10. In the Web Address field, enter the word website.
  11. Click Insert Link.
  12. Switch to HTML view by clicking HTML at the bottom of the editor.
  13. Find the location in the HTML code that reads <DIV><A href="http://website" target=_blank>Website</A></DIV>.
  14. Delete http://website and enter $FIELDn (where $FIELDn is the identifier of the field you are using for the link).
  15. Click Save.
