Upload a File to a File Library App

Here's how you upload a file to a File Library app.

  1. In Site Manager, navigate to the appropriate workspace containing the app you wish update.
  2. Click Actions to the right of the page and select Edit Page from the drop-down list. The page opens in Edit Mode.
  3. Click the File Library App. The app opens.
  4. Click New File.
  5. Enter the File Title and Description, if desired, for the file and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  6. Under Uploaded File, click the Select File button to browse and find your file.
  7. Select the appropriate file and click Open.
  8. Click Save.

When using the File Library App, you will not have the ability to access items that have previously been added to the Files & Folders area of the current workspace. If you wish to select a file that is in Files & Folders, you will need to navigate to the originating location of the file and select it again.

Note that you can also upload a file to a File Library app using App Manager located on the Tools tab of a workspace.
