Add a New Assignment in the Assignment App

Here's how you add an assignment to an Assignment app.

  1. In Site Manager, navigate to the workspace containing the page with the app you wish to edit.
  2. Click Actions to the right of the page containing the app and select Edit Page from the drop-down list. The page opens in Edit Mode.
  3. Click on the Assignment App. The app opens.
  4. Click New Assignment. The New Assignment window displays.
  5. On the General tab:
    • Enter the Assignment Title, Date Assigned and Due Date. These are mandatory field.
    • Enter the Assignment Category (optional).
  6. On the Directions tab, enter additional instructions for the assignment (optional).
  7. On the Post to Calendar tab, check the box Add to Calendar if you would like the assignment to appear on your Calendar (optional). Select a Calendar from your section workspace and the Calendar Event Category from the drop-down menus.
  8. Click Save. The assignment is added to the Assignment app and you are returned to the workspace.
