Add a New Blog Post in the Blog App

Here's how you add a blog post to a Blog app.

  1. In Site Manager, navigate to the workspace containing the page with the app you wish to edit.
  2. Click Actions to the right of the page containing the app and select Edit Page from the drop-down list. The page opens in Edit Mode.
  3. Click on the Blog App. The app opens.
  4. Click New Posting. The Blog Posting window displays.
  5. On the General tab, enter the Blog Title and Post Date. These are mandatory fields.
  6. On the Posting tab, enter the blog post.
  7. On the Author tab, enter the author's Name and Email. These are mandatory fields. The Email address is not published on the end-user website. 
  8. On the Tags tab, enter tags separated by commas. Tags allow visitors to your website to filter your blog posts.
  9. Click Save. The blog post is added and you are returned to the workspace.

Note: For visitors to your website to filter through tags, Display Tag List must by checked in the Sidebar tab of the Blog App options.
