Manage the Content Moderation Approval Queue

Here's how you can manage the Approval Queue in Content Moderation. Note that you must be assigned as a moderator for at least one Content Group.

Approve Content Sent for Approval

  1. In Site Manager, expand CONTENT MODERATION in the Content Browser.
  2. Select Approval Queue from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Approve to the right of the submitted content. A confirmation box displays.
  4. Click Yes. The content is approved and you returned to the workspace.

Preview the Content Sent for Approval

  1. In Site Manager, expand CONTENT MODERATION in the Content Browser.
  2. Select Approval Queue from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click View to the right of the submitted content. The preview window displays.
  4. Click the X in the top right corner to close the preview. You are returned to the workspace.

Decline Content Sent for Approval

  1. In Site Manager, expand CONTENT MODERATION in the Content Browser.
  2. Select Approval Queue from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Decline to the right of the submitted content. A confirmation box displays.
  4. Click Yes.  The Decline Content Comment dialog displays.
  5. Enter a comment about why the content was declined to send to content editor.
  6. Click Send. The content is declined, the comment is sent to the editor, and you are returned to the workspace.

Note: The following apps allow content to be sent for approval with Content Moderation: About Teacher, Alumni Directory, Announcements, Article Library, Blog, Book List, Discussion, Document Viewer, Embed Code, File Library, Flex Editor, Headlines & Features, Link Library, Lunch Menu, Maps & Directions, Podcast, Q & A, School Directory, Staff Directory.
