Site Settings for Broadcast E-Alerts

In order to enable the Alert types Facebook and Twitter® for Broadcast E-Alerts, you must connect to a Facebook or Twitter account using the Social Media Accounts option on the Advanced tab of each site from which you allow Broadcast E-Alert tweets®.

Here's how you access the Advanced tab.

  1. In Site Manager, expand CONFIGURE in the Content Browser.
  2. Select Sites. The Sites Workspace displays.
  3. Select a site in the list.
  4. Click Advanced. Advanced options for the site display.
  5. Select Alerts. Available Alerts options display.
  6. Locate the Social Media Accounts option for Facebook and Twitter.
  7. Click Connect. The Authorize Schoolwires, Inc. to use your account? screen displays.
  8. Enter your Facebook or Twitter sign in data and click Authorize App.

You are connected to the Facebook or Twitter account until you sign out of the account.

To sign out of the account, navigate to the Advanced tab of the Site Workspace, located the social Media Accounts option for Twitter and click Disconnect.
