Create a New Phone Call E-Alert

Here’s how you create a new phone call E‑Alert.

  1. In SiteManager, navigate to the Site Workspace from which you wish to send yourBroadcast E‑Alert.
  2. Click the Toolstab and select Broadcast E‑Alerts.
  3. Click NewE‑Alert. The New Alert window displays.
  4. Enter a name for your Broadcast E‑Alert in theAlert Name field.
  5. Deselect the Email E‑Alert type then select thePhone Call E‑Alert type.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. On the Messagetab, select your audio type.
  8. If you wish to use the Text-to-Voice audio type, enter your message in the Long Messagefield.
  9. If you wish to use the Record Via Telephone audio type, follow the instructions listedbelow to record your message.
  10. If you wish to use the Pre-Recorded Message audio type, select the message you wis h touse from the drop-down. To listen to the message you have selected, click Listen.
  11. If you wish to send this E‑Alert out as anemergency, check This is an Emergency.A confirmation window displays.
  12. Click Yesto make this E‑Alert an emergency.
  13. When finished, click Save Draft or navigateto the Delivery tab to send orschedule your Broadcast E‑Alert.
  14. You are returned to the Alerts List View and thestatus of your E‑Alert is marked as Draft.
